When I think of at home work-out DVDs, it brings back such funny memories of my teen years. Breaking out the VCR, throwing my mom’s video tape in and dominating the grapevine with Jane Fonda across the living floor while simultaneously knocking in to the coffee table and breaking lamps. I was an aerobics master (at least in my own head). And don’t forget Buns of Steel, my friend and I would do this after school and then proceed to eat a platter of food big enough to feed a small family. I had BIG buns of steel.

The new world of in home exercise DVDs is so exciting because there are so many cool workouts that you would normally have to pay at least $20 to do. Ballet Beautiful is a great one to add to your repertoire because:

A. It has 15 minute work-outs
B. You don’t need a lot of room to do it
C. It really does work
D. It’s a favorite of Victoria’s Secret models (not sure if that excites me or depresses me). Check out this article from Harper’s Bazaar

Oh yeah and it’s affordable ($9) So check it out and let me know what you think!

Happy Turkey Day!

I have just come across a cool new fitness site called Fabletics (Kate Hudson is a cofounder). The gist: it is a membership based program and you have the option to buy an outfit a month for $49. The cool thing is is that you don’t have to buy the outfit if you don’t want to. The pieces look pretty cool, especially the camouflage pants! Not sure what the fit is like, but I may check it out considering my obsession with Lululemon is extremely expensive!

Let me know what you think or if you tried the line!
